Fast fashion is one of the fastest growing industries and is, quite literally, taking over the world. Here at Ova, we have some major issues with the fast fashion trend. First, it creates a "wear and tear" culture meaning that consumers buy clothing only to wear it few times and then discard which contributes to clothing being one of the top pollutants of our planet. Second, fast fashion creates a "race to the bottom" meaning clothing is made in bulk at the lowest price possible. This creates unethical and dangerous working conditions where garment workers are often overworked and underpaid.

Ova combats these issues by having limited collections with only our best and most innovative designs which helps reduce waste by not flooding the market. We also create all of our collections with quality fabrications that is not meant to be worn just once and thrown away but can serve your style needs time and time again.

Second, we choose not to compete in "race to the bottom" pricing. We believe in quality clothing that is well constructed and sustainably priced so everyone working with Ova can be compensated fairly for the hard work, love and care that we put into each and every piece.

Lastly, we believe in the classic reduce, reuse and recycle policy. Ova reduces waste by providing packaging that is 100% sustainable.

By choosing to shop with Ova, you can take steps to preserve and protect our environment and look hot while doing it!

In order for us to be as sustainable as possible, Ova only produces collections at a limited quantity. Our goal for each collection that we let out is to sell out in order to combat fashion waste and inventory overload. We only produce a few hundred units per style which is drastically smaller than the thousands and tens of thousands of units that fast fashion brands produce.

At Ova, we only produce limited styles as well as limited units so if you see something you love, get it quickly because it is going to go fast!

At Ova, we focus on making our designs multifunctional. We prioritize designs that can be styled in many different ways. We love our innovative pieces such as our dresses that can be converted into a top and skirt worn separately. We also love adding accessories to our pieces so that you can purchase a full, elevated look that makes a statement.

Here at Ova, we love multifunctional, quality pieces that can be worn time and time again. We are obsessed with putting our own spin on classic and vintage styles as we are inspired by the past. Making vintage styles modern is a way in which we give longevity to our designs so you invest in pieces you can wear for years to come!

Ova's number one goal is to give back to the community. We have a fully functioning internship program for BIPOC+ and LGBTQIA+ students to work in the fashion industry in a variety of departments. We offer internship positions on a rolling basis in photography, videography, design, marketing, social media, operations, public relations and more!

We know how hard it is to get into the fashion industry, even more so if you're from a marginalized community. Sometimes all you need is a foot in the door! Through Ova's internship program, our goal is to nurture and cultivate the skills of our interns, both professionally and personally.
